What commissions do not do
Commissions do not buy placement, ranking, or a favourable verdict. Products are ranked on published specifications, listed prices, and patterns in verified buyer feedback, under the method set out in our editorial standards. Some products we cover earn us nothing, including competitor products we recommend editorially while no affiliate relationship exists with their makers. Where a recommendation earns us nothing, we say so by covering it on the same terms as everything else.
Prices and availability
Prices and specifications shown on this site are the listed figures at the time each page was checked, and they change with sales and product revisions. The date on each page tells you when it was last updated. Always confirm the current price and specification on the seller page before you buy.
Products and samples
Our assessments are built from public evidence and do not depend on manufacturer samples. If we ever accept a product from a manufacturer, that fact and any conditions attached to it will be disclosed on the review itself.
